Simple, competitive & transparent fees

I charge on time spent working on your planning concerns. I charge for expenses directly and necessarily incurred on your assignment such as the cost of travel, materials and equipment.

Transparency

My work is recorded on timeEdition computer software. On invoicing, I provide you with records and an overview of the main activities of the project so you can see exactly where my time has been spent on your concerns.

Terms of business

As a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, I am required to agree with you in writing how we will work together. This is called our 'terms of business'. It is a formality of engagement with all RTPI members. It should give you confidence that you will not get any nasty surprises on completion of the work.

Discounts

I may offer you a discount on my fees on the proviso that your payments are received promptly. If payments are late, a fee based on the full hourly rate is payable. I also have the discretion to charge interest in accordance with my terms of business.

Free consultation

At my discretion, I may offer you an initial consultation free of charge and without obligation if you live within 20 miles of my base. The free consultation is usually restricted to one hour.
